Viking Pest is Open for Business 

Viking would like to ensure all new and existing customers throughout our service region, Viking Pest is open and will continue to provide all residential and commercial customers with service, as Viking Pest is a provider of essential service.  

The number one priority at Viking Pest Control is to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers. We are diligently monitoring this evolving situation and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  We have policies and procedures in place across our business to address issues that may arise during this outbreak and have educated our staff accordingly. 

In the event we are unable to access the interior of your home or business, we will continue to provide protection to the exterior areas to proactively prevent pests from entering.  Please understand our staff follows a strict confidentiality agreement should you need to contact us due to issues preventing service to the interior of your home or business.  Thank you for allowing our Viking Team to serve you.

How Will COVID-19 Affect Viking Pest Service at My Home or Business?

As of now, we will continue to perform all services as normal.

  • If we are not able to access the interior of your home or business Our Viking Service Technicians will continue to provide service through proactive exterior pest preventative treatment methods

  • When arriving at your home we will continue to notify you of arrival by knocking on your door or ringing your doorbell. Please do not feel obligated to answer the door if you are not comfortable. 

  • Upon completion of service, we will not require a signature and we will  leave a notification at your door at which time your service report will be emailed and available to view on your customer account portal located on our website vikingpest.pestconnect.com

  • If you do not have a current email on file please email us from your preferred email account with your name, address, and mobile phone number for further text updates.

  • For commercial accounts and businesses upon arrival of our technician please advise them of any current protocols that may have been put in place due to Covid-19 concerns.

  • In reference to testing for COVID-19, Viking is following medical guidance for testing a specific employee for COVID-19. Our Technicians, who service our customers are expected to check their temperature 2x each day, prior to working and at the end of the day. Additionally, we support social distancing by allowing our employees to work from home and, if necessary, to self-quarantine if they are experiencing any of the symptoms and request that customers stay 6 feet or more away from the technician when they are in a home or business.  Our technician are professional and have been trained in safety techniques to protect themselves and our customers, including wearing gloves and booties.

For Technicians, Viking Pest is mandating the following:

  • Wash hands with soap for 20 seconds or more after leaving a customer's home or office
  • Respectfully will decline handshakes
  • Use gloves when inside a customer space
